    Open-air bath (Kidate no Yu)

    The open-air bath (Kidate-no-Yu) is a natural sulfur spring filled with the scent of hot water, and is made from mountain stones from the Kokonoe Mountains, allowing you to see the changing nature of the four seasons right before your eyes. The Mebuki no Yu in the spring, the cool Yu in the summer, the Autumn leaves in the fall, the snowy landscape in the winter, and the rocks covered with plants, giving you a soothing sense of unity with nature. The spring quality is soft and sulfur spring that is gentle on the skin, allowing you to relax and soak in it.

    Details of the open-air bath

    • Hot spring water flowing directly from the source, the temperature of the source is 60℃
    • The temperature of the bathtub is set at approximately 40℃ to 42℃ (1 to 2℃ higher in winter).
    • There is no shower in the open-air bath.
    • Separate men and women (there is no swapping of men and women)
    • Bathing hours: 15:00 to 23:00, morning, 6:00 to 9:30
    • Day trip bath Hours: 10:00 to 15:00.

     

    Indoor bath (Kodachi no Yu) where you can soak slowly while looking at the beams on the ceiling

    When you look up at the natural sulfur spring with the scent of hot water, you can see the exposed beams on the ceiling, so you can enjoy a relaxing bath.

    • Bathing hours: 15:00 to 23:00, morning, 6:00 to 9:30
    • No outpatient bathing available (only available for hotel guests)

    High-quality sulfur hot springs are available for private use.
    Take a relaxing soak in the cut stone bathtub and heal the fatigue of your journey.

    • Private bath [Paid 1,000 yen for 45 minutes (tax included) (reservation required at the front desk on the day)]
    • Bathing hours: 15:00-21:30 (unavailable in the morning)
    • ※For those who do not wish to use the private bath at our hotel, in order to make it as reasonable as possible, the private bath fee is not included in the accommodation fee. We also clean the rooms after use, so you can have a comfortable stay.
      ※Available only to hotel guests.

    • Metals such as iron, copper, and tin that come into contact with the hydrogen sulfide gas contained in hot springs will oxidize, so please remove any jewelry before bathing.

    Contraindications for bathing

    Acute illness (especially if you have a fever), active tuberculosis, malignant tumor, severe heart disease, respiratory failure, hemorrhagic disease, severe anemia, other diseases in progress, pregnancy (especially in the early and late stages) ) Skin dryness in people with sensitive skin and mucous membranes, people with especially photosensitivity, and elderly people.
